On the 22nd of February 2010, ITM was approved by the Swedish Board of Agriculture to train Swedish SMEs in the food sector within international trade. The target group will be Swedish producers who provide quality products from based on local heritage and contemporary taste.
This program is a blend of local and international seminars, individual export coaching and study visits with "mini-fairs" in Germany and France. The trade seminars will cover the following topics with some of the world's most distinguished experts in international trade training:
- Managing Across Cultures - Dr. Fons Trompenaars, Holland (1 day)
- International Trade Marketing and Strategies - Professor Per V. Jenster, CBS, Danmark (2 days)
- International Market Research - Jean Sutton, Actionline & Research, UK (2 days)
- Export Sales Training - Göran Parszyk & Markus Johnsson, Sweden(2 days)
- Change Management - Professor Albert A. Angehrn, INSEAD, France (1 day)
- Export documents, International payments, Delivery terms and Product liability- Swedish Trade Council and other external consultants (2 days)
- International Trade Fair Seminar - Swedish Fair & Trade Service (1 day)
- Packaging and Internet Sales (1 day)
The companies will also have access to an on-line network for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
After completing the program the participants will have an international recognized Diploma in International Trade Management. ITM Worldwide Foundation is accredited by IATTO (International Association of Trade Training Organisations).
