The huge project is a multi-faceted Danish-Chinese collaboration with an international business school and 3rd. generation innovation park at its core.
The development is led by an international investment consortium and a Shanghai-based property development corporation under the Danish leadership of Professor Per Jenster from Copenhagen Business School.
A Center for International Trade Management will be created in close cooperation with ITM Worldwide Foundation. Professor Jenster is also a board member and faculty of ITM Worldwide Foundation.
The ‘Nordic Knowledge City' project is one of the most significant developments in southwest China and will play a critical role in the ongoing rapid modernization and internationalisation of the Chengdu city area.
The project is based on the creation of a mutually reinforcing core of knowledge and culture based institutions, including an international business school campus, buildings for business incubation, innovation, research and training, as well as buildings for creative-based industries and the arts.
