ITM Worldwide Foundation and Jönköping International Business School signed an agreement on developing a new master education for exportting small and medium-sized companies and take on research in the area of interantional trade management. The new executive training will be called Master of Business and Trade and will combine vocational training in trade with executive education. The agreement was signed at the IATTO Forum in Cannes October 30.

There is a great need for international executive training for small and medium-sized companies in both developing and industrial countries around the world, but the market today only offer national traditional Executive MBA developed for larger companies. This has resulted in:
- To few SMEs
- To few women
- To little international experiences
- To littel focus on international sales
We coup with this we would like to offer someting new adapted to SMEs and more roted in sales and international business than administration. Therefor we will call it Master of Business and Trade. It will be devided into three steps where each step ledas to an exam over a period of 8-10 years. The first step will be a vocational training in international trade right after university. 50 percent will take place in modules abroad together with other SMEs and international faculty members. Study visits abroad and a stratregy project for your own company is part of this new concept.
