Job specification
The ITM Worldwide Foundation is now recruiting trainees, on behalf of thirteen diverse companies in the region of Skåne, for the International Management Trainee Programme starting in August/September 2010. The programme lasts a year and alternates training with company/industry-specific practice. It is based on the ITM Worldwide Foundation's award winning trade training course comprising seminars in a range of topics such as market research, cross-cultural aspects, change management, sales training, and export strategies.
Each participating company creates its own internal programme with assistance and manuals from the ITM Worldwide Foundation. This programme is designed to let you enter the company quickly and carry out real job assignments and projects. The company sets up a one-year plan allowing you to work in several of its departments, in some cases including a three-month period abroad. You will consequently work with export questions involving market analyses, business plans, customer account management etc., although the orientation differs between companies. A mentor from the company and an export coach from ITM will support you during your trainee period. After successfully completing your training, you can step into the role of a Country Manager, Key Account Manager or similar position.
The trainee programme is financed by the participating companies and the Region Skåne. The trainees' salary is agreed with the company. Recruitment of companies is ongoing and will be published on the ITM web-site continuously.
International Diploma in International Trade Management
After the program you will receive a world recognized diploma in International Trade Management. ITM Worldwide is accredited by International Association of Trade Training Organisations (IATTO). During the last 15 years approximately 1.300 people accomplished this program in Sweden and abroad.
Required qualification
We are looking for a person who:
- - has an academic degree, preferable Engineer or Business
- - is self-driven
- - has good language skill
- - has interest for international businesses
